This research explores speech acts in Abdullah Al-Baradouni's poetry according to Searle's classification. It highlights the importance and pragmatic values of Al-Baradouni's work. The researcher used stylistic analysis to explore the poetic discourse and identify speech acts in the poetry. Findings revealed that speech acts in Al-Baradouni's poetry transcended the traditional concept of mere utterance to include performative and behavioral meanings, as evidenced during the classification process. Therefore, the poet succeeded in conveying his intent to the receiver, and fulfilling the required impact because of the availability of the success conditions of the speech acts to make the poetic discourse contribute to changing ideas, concepts, and changing the world with words.
